Production Planner / Inventory Control Manager

FORZA

Full-Time | Exempt | Competitive Compensation

FORZA is looking for a sharp, data-driven operator to take ownership of our production planning and inventory control functions. This is not a sit-back-and-maintain role — this is for someone who wants to own the numbers, tighten processes, and directly impact operational performance.You’ll sit within Purchasing but work cross-functionally with Production and Quality to ensure what we plan actually runs, what we build is accurate, and what we consume makes sense. If inefficiencies bother you and messy data keeps you up at night, you’ll fit right in.

What You’ll Own

Production Scheduling

Build, manage, and continuously refine the master production schedule
Align production plans with demand forecasts, inventory levels, and capacity constraints
Proactively adjust schedules based on material availability and operational realities
Drive on-time production, throughput, and schedule adherence

ERP Work Order Management

Create, release, and close work orders with precision and accountability
Maintain and audit Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure accuracy
Ensure every work order is clean, accurate, and production-ready
Serve as the gatekeeper of ERP data integrity

Inventory & Material Control

Lead and execute raw material cycle counts
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies — no shrugging allowed
Track material usage, variance, and batch yields
Identify opportunities to reduce scrap, waste, and inventory adjustments
Turn inventory data into actionable improvements, not just reports

What We’re Looking For

3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or inventory control
Hands-on experience with ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel/data skills
Experience with BOMs and batch manufacturing (preferred)
Highly organized, detail-driven, and process-oriented
Someone who doesn’t just report problems — fixes them
