Full Job Description

Clinical Care Coordinator (Pharmacy Technician or Medical Assistant)

Part-time, 25-30 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 5-6 hours per day during clinic business hours. $19-23 per hour based on experience. Omaha, NE, hybrid with remote work and occasional in-person training.

ABOUT US

LNK Pharmacy Solutions is a pharmacist-led clinical services company partnering with physician clinics across Nebraska. We run two programs. Our medication access team resolves prior authorizations, insurance barriers, and cost issues so patients actually get the medications their doctors prescribe. Our Priority Care program provides pharmacist-led care management for patients with complex chronic conditions.

We are small, fast-moving, and clinically serious. You will work directly with our founding pharmacists and see the impact of your work on real patients every day.

THE ROLE

You will be the operational backbone of our medication access team, handling the coordination work that keeps cases moving so our pharmacists stay focused on clinical decisions.

- Verify insurance benefits and run coverage discovery for new medication requests

- Track down and organize medical records for prior authorization submissions

- Enter and maintain case data in our platform

- Handle incoming faxes and route documents to the right case

- Call pharmacies, payers, and clinic staff to confirm status and resolve routine issues

- Complete patient callbacks to relay case updates and confirm medications were picked up

You will never be asked to make clinical judgments. When something is outside your lane, you flag it and a pharmacist takes over. Clear escalation rules exist for everything you touch.

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required:

- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) or Medical Assistant or Medication Access Coordinator with 2+ years of experience

- Comfortable on the phone with patients, pharmacies, and clinic staff

- Organized and reliable with documentation. If it is not written down, it did not happen

- Able to commit to a set weekday daytime schedule, agreed on at hire and held consistently. No nights, no weekends

- Comfortable learning new software and workflows quickly

- Brings a positive attitude and is willing to learn, take constructive criticism, and work as an integral team member

Strongly preferred:

- Prior authorization or insurance verification experience

- Experience as a Medication Access Coordinator

- Experience with chronic care management, remote patient monitoring, or clinic workflows

- Experience working with elderly patients over the phone

WHY THIS ROLE IS DIFFERENT

Most technician and MA roles bury you in a queue. Here, you own a defined lane, work directly with a team of pharmacists, and help build the systems as we grow. The schedule is daytime only, set in advance, and respected. If you want steady weekday hours without retail nights, weekends, or holiday rotations, this is that role. Strong performers will have first opportunity at expanded hours and responsibilities as our patient panel scales.
