Job Overview:
The Wealth Planning Specialist serves as the primary client service and planning support professional for a dedicated Wealth Advisor. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional client experience through proactive service, financial planning support, account administration, and ongoing management of client relationships. The Wealth Planning Specialist works closely with the Wealth Advisor to support the financial planning process, coordinate client communications, maintain accurate records, and ensure timely follow-up on planning recommendations and service requests.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 - 4:30 (on-site)

Responsibilities:

Client Service & Relationship Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for client service inquiries and requests.
Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and responsive service.
Handle day-to-day client service needs, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
Respond to ad hoc client questions related to financial planning and account administration.
Support client engagement through ongoing communication regarding planning initiatives and service updates.

Account Administration & Operations

Prepare, process, and monitor new account and existing account paperwork.
Ensure account documentation is completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner.
Coordinate account maintenance requests and facilitate transfers, updates, and other service-related transactions.
Maintain organized and compliant client records and documentation.

Financial Planning Support

Facilitate the client discovery and fact-finding process to gather comprehensive financial information.
Assist the Wealth Advisor in collecting and organizing data for the development of financial plans.
Periodically review and update client financial information, assumptions, goals, and planning variables.
Document all planning-related activities and maintain detailed records of client interactions and recommendations.
Prepare and distribute plan progress reports to support ongoing client planning conversations.
Assist in addressing client planning questions and information requests.

Meeting Preparation & Follow-Up

Coordinate preparation for client review meetings, including updating planning data and relevant materials.
Prepare planning summaries, reports, and supporting documents for client meetings.
Document meeting notes and key action items.
Manage post-review meeting follow-up tasks, ensuring recommendations and service requests are executed promptly.
Track progress on outstanding action items and communicate updates to clients and the Wealth Advisor.

Client Technology & Portal Management

Set up and maintain client access to the firm's client portal.
Provide client training and support on portal functionality and available resources.
Assist clients with portal navigation, document access, account aggregation, and ongoing maintenance.
Monitor portal data accuracy and support integration of client financial information.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Financial Planning, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
3-5 years of experience in wealth management, financial planning, client service, or a related financial services role preferred.
Working knowledge of financial planning concepts and wealth management practices.
Proficiency with CRM systems, financial planning software, and Microsoft Office applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
