Location: Lucky Wheels Auto

Position Type: Full-Time

Compensation: Base salary plus commission/bonuses (Estimated $50,000 – $60,000+)

Reports To: General Manager / Dealership Owner

Job Overview

Lucky Wheels Auto is seeking an experienced, high-energy, and ethical Finance & Insurance (F&I) Manager to lead our finance operations. In this role, you will be responsible for providing competitive vehicle financing and protection options to our customers, building strong relationships with lending institutions, and driving dealership profitability while maintaining standard compliance.

Key Responsibilities Customer Finance & Deal Structuring

Conduct financial interviews with vehicle buyers to assess financing needs, present credit options, and secure approvals.
Offer transparent explanations of payment options, interest rates, and loan terms.
Present aftermarket protection programs, including extended service contracts, GAP insurance, tire/wheel protection, and vehicle maintenance plans.
Collaborate directly with the sales team to structure deals that align with lender guidelines and customer budgets.

Lender Relations & Compliance

Establish and nurture relationships with prime, subprime, and local lending institutions to maintain competitive rate programs.
Ensure total compliance with all federal, state, and local regulatory requirements (e.g., Fair Credit Reporting Act, Truth in Lending, Privacy Acts).
Verify all deal paperwork, title information, tax documentation, and credit applications with accuracy prior to submission.
Manage "contracts in transit" to secure rapid deal funding and keep funding delays to a minimum.

Sales Support & Department Performance

Track and hit key performance indicators (KPIs), including average profit per vehicle retailed (PVR) and product penetration rates.
Train sales representatives on basic finance concepts, credit interviewing, and seamless customer handoffs.
Participate in weekly management meetings to report on monthly metrics, conversion rates, and inventory status.

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: Minimum 2+ years of automotive F&I experience or strong proven track record in automotive sales management.
Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and deal-desking software (e.g., DealerTrack, RouteOne, ADP/CDK).
Licensing: Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record. F&I/Insurance license preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.
Core Competencies:
Deep understanding of automotive deal flow, credit bureau reports, and subprime options.
Outstanding communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Uncompromising ethical standards and commitment to customer satisfaction (CSI).
