Starting Pay: $24.00–$26.00 per hour

Do you have a passion for cooking, leading a kitchen, and making a difference in people's lives?

Beautiful Life Adult Center is seeking an experienced and dependable Lead Cook to take the lead in preparing fresh, nutritious, and enjoyable meals for seniors and young adults with disabilities at our state-of-the-art Adult Day Center.

At Beautiful Life, food is more than a meal—it's part of the experience. We want someone who takes pride in the kitchen and understands that every meal matters.

What You'll Do

Lead the daily preparation of breakfast, lunch, and snacks
Prepare quality meals for large groups
Follow approved menus and accommodate special dietary requirements
Maintain high standards of food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness
Keep the kitchen organized and inspection-ready
Monitor food inventory and coordinate ordering of food and kitchen supplies
Help control food costs and minimize waste
Coordinate kitchen duties and provide direction to other kitchen staff as needed
Work with nursing and program staff regarding participants' dietary and nutritional needs
Ensure meals are prepared and served on schedule
Help create an enjoyable dining experience for our participants

What We're Looking For

Previous professional cooking experience required
Experience as a Lead Cook, Head Cook, Kitchen Lead, or similar position preferred
Experience preparing meals for large groups
Healthcare, senior living, school, institutional, catering, or high-volume food service experience preferred
Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation
Ability to organize and manage daily kitchen operations
Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
A genuine commitment to serving seniors and individuals with disabilities
