Position Summary:
The Compliance Specialist's responsibility is to review and validate that medical professionals in the pre-hire stage have current credentials and licenses to work in their field or specialty. Compliance Specialists work independently, manage their workloads effectively, and meet deadlines.
Location: Omaha, NE 68164 (or Louisville, KY 40299)
Job Type: Full-time

Primary Responsibilities:

Validate credentialing documents and licenses prior to the start of employment.
Oversee employee files to verify completeness and accuracy.
Maintain compliance with regulatory and accrediting institutions.
Communicate clearly and timely with Recruiters, Recruitment Managers, and other internal customers, to update them on credentialing challenges and concerns in the pre-employment process.

Qualifications:

Experience performing similar duties within a medical organization.
Customer service experience required.
Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple desks throughout the day.
Willingness to learn with an open mind.
Track record of career success and/or longevity in other roles.
Positive, persistent attitude.
Staffing industry experience and knowledge is a plus.
Ability to gather and analyze data, make improvement adjustments, and prepare reports.
Ability to use independent judgment in decision making.
Ability to manage and impart confidential information appropriately.
Valid driver’s license
Reliable transportation
