Work Environment
This role is based in a very large manufacturing facility of nearly 500,000 square feet that produces sheet metal shelving units similar to those used in major retail stores. Office spaces are located above the manufacturing floor, providing convenient access between desk work, meetings, and the production lines. Engineers spend most of their time on the manufacturing floor, working side by side with production support teams and leading projects directly where the work is performed. The workplace offers a flexible schedule, a casual dress environment, and a laid-back culture that emphasizes collaboration and internal growth, with many opportunities to advance into leadership roles. While on a contract-to-hire basis, employees receive company bonus potential (up to 5% every six months, up to 10% per year), 10 paid holidays, three weeks of accrued vacation, and a competitive benefits package with medical, dental, and vision coverage starting on the first day of employment, along with access to an onsite health clinic.
