Full Job Description

Ability to bid residential and commercial Utility Construction projects. Customer service oriented, availability for on-call. Lead Utility Construction crews as well as manage a driver and concrete repair crew. Oversite of employees on applicable utilities projects. Ensures that work is being completed timely/ on schedule. Makes sure that staff has needed equipment, supplies and PPE. Administers required training with employees for customer locations.

Essential functions

Choose the types of tools to be used in the utilities project and track inventory of those tools.
Keep track and monitor employee progress on site managing hours and overtime.
Support company goals.
Ensure that all aspects of the utilities project comply with all safety and building regulations.
Evalute for risk factors and mange/ mitigate them to ensure the utilities project goes smoothly.
Work professionally in tandem with other contractors.
Liaise with local authorities/ code enforcement/ building inspectors when it comes to licenses and permits for the project. Ensure that project doesn’t get stop work orders.
Prepare required paperwork and reports on the project for upper management.
Conduct performance evaluations on reporting employees.
Ensure that required training/ toolbox talks are conducted onsite per customer/ company requirements.
Act as onsite quality assurance for the project.
Work to reduce costs through good planning and timely execution of the project.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
