Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and passionate Pre-School Dance Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis, working mornings from Monday through Friday. In this role, you will bring joy and movement to young children by leading dance activities that promote physical development, creativity, and confidence. This position offers a wonderful opportunity to inspire early childhood learners in a lively, supportive environment.

Duties

Plan and deliver engaging dance lessons tailored for preschool-aged children, incorporating elements of choreography, movement, and music.
Develop age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with early childhood development standards and promotes creativity through dance and performing arts.
Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Incorporate various arts activities such as theater, visual arts, or musical instruments to enhance the dance experience.
Foster a safe space for children to explore movement and express themselves freely while ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Collaborate with parents and staff to support each child's developmental progress and share feedback on their achievements.
Utilize skills in choreography, teaching visual & performing arts, and early childhood education to inspire young learners.

Skills

Experience working with children in preschool or early childhood settings.
Strong background in dance instruction, choreography, ballet, or other forms of movement-based arts.
Knowledge of classroom management techniques suitable for young children.
Ability to develop creative lesson plans that incorporate music, movement, and arts activities.
Familiarity with childhood development principles and behavior management strategies.
Skills in teaching arts such as theater or visual arts to enhance dance lessons.
Experience with curriculum development tailored for early learners in creative arts instruction.
