Full Job Description

Moylan Iceplex is the largest public use ice skating facility in Nebraska. We are a family friendly, family run establishment whose main goal is to provide a great place for people to enjoy ice sports. Offering public skating, figure skating, hockey, curling and broomball, Moylan Iceplex has something for everyone.

Mechanically inclined
Minimum 18 years of age
Valid driver’s license
Able to work independently while following instructions

We are looking for a qualified individual to join our team as a Zamboni driver to work night and weekend shifts. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined. The Zamboni driver will be responsible for cleaning the ice between scheduled events in the allotted time to ensure events stay on schedule. Applicant must have full range of motion at all times, be able to lift up to 40 pounds and be able to maintain balance while walking in wet, slushy and icy areas. The Zamboni driver must be able to work independently while following instructions from ice maintenance staff and rink protocol. Zamboni drivers are expected to assist the staff at the front with customer service and facility upkeep when not resurfacing the ice. Previous ice resurfacer experience is beneficial, but not required. Anyone hired will be trained.
