Eagle Crest Communities: Eagle Crest South II (La Crosse, WI):

With 10 different communities between La Crosse, Onalaska and Holmen, we’re able to provide care in independent and assisted living, high acuity assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing and rehabilitation. About the Position:
There is an exciting opportunity at Eagle Crest South in La Crosse! We are looking for a caring and compassionate individual to join our team of healthcare professionals as the Assisted Living Supervisor.

This is a 64 hour position generally works Monday - Friday, business hours, but may require to work the occasional night or weekend to connect with staff or fill in shifts. This position may be combined with other duties to make additional hours for the right candidate.

As Supervisor, you will work with staff, residents, and families in our Eagle Crest South Community; primarily responsible for supervision of staff in our Assisted Living and Independent + apartments, but may also assist in Memory Care or High Acuity units as needed. The successful candidate will provide resident, family, and staff support in accordance with our Core Values and care philosophy and goals.

Duties include interviewing, hiring, and training Resident Care staff, as well as new hire and annual performance reviews and discipline when necessary, and assisting with scheduling. The Supervisor assists the Nurse team with new admissions and discharges, and may set up and attend care conferences with the nurse. The supervisor will also work with the life enrichment department to ensure a vibrant activity program is in place, assist the nurse in duties as needed, order supplies and maintain the overall daily operations of the unit. The successful candidate will assist with strategic and facility action plans, oversee volunteers, and perform other duties as assigned. The successful candidate must be professional in all actions and must be dependable.

Requirements::

Must be at least 21 years of age and exhibit the capacity to respond to the needs of the residents and manage the complexity of Assisted Living
Possess supervisory/leadership qualities and abilities, time management and assessment abilities
Basic computer skills that allow you to navigate programs in Microsoft Suite, the internet, and other databases, as well as the ability to learn new programs quickly
Ability to learn and implement policy change as state and facility requirements change
Must maintain current driver’s license with safe driving record
Must be willing and able to be flexible with your time to fill in shifts as needed.
Preferred education and experience qualifications include one of the following:
Associates degree or higher from an accredited college in a healthcare related field,
Bachelor's degree in a field other than healthcare from an accredited college, plus one-year experience working in assisted living, home care, or nursing home or other similar client population
High school diploma or equivalent along with a minimum two years’ experience working in a healthcare related field having direct contact with our client population, and have successfully completed a department-approved assisted living administrators training course,
