EMT-Paramedic – Donor Center

Location: Onalaska, WI
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: No Overnight Shifts | Consistent Hours

Are you a skilled EMT-Paramedic looking for a career that offers better work-life balance while allowing you to continue making a direct impact on patient care? Our donor center in Onalaska, WI is seeking motivated and compassionate Paramedics to help ensure donor safety and support the collection of lifesaving plasma used to create therapies for patients around the world.

This is a great opportunity for Paramedics seeking a clinical healthcare setting with predictable scheduling, a supportive team environment, and opportunities for career advancement.

What You'll Do

Conduct donor health history screenings and eligibility assessments
Perform vital signs and physical evaluations
Monitor donors throughout the donation process
Assess and manage donor reactions or medical events
Provide emergency medical care when necessary
Ensure compliance with FDA, state, and company regulations
Document donor information accurately in electronic systems
Educate donors on the donation process and post-donation care
Collaborate with center leadership and medical staff to ensure donor safety and product quality

Qualifications Required

Current EMT-Paramedic (NREMT-P or State Licensed Paramedic) certification
Valid Wisconsin Paramedic License (or ability to obtain)
Current BLS certification
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Preferred

Experience in:
Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Emergency Department (ED)
Urgent Care
Critical Care Transport
Blood or Plasma Collection
Occupational Health
Outpatient Healthcare
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience
