Assignment Snapshot

Location: Jobs available nationwide and updated daily
Start Dates: As soon as next week or up to eight weeks out
Contract Length: 8 to 26 weeks, with frequent extensions available

What We’re Looking For

Passed NBCOT Exam
Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy
Previous travel experience is a plus

Typical Duties Include

Evaluate patients' functional abilities and develop individualized treatment plans in accordance with physician referrals and department protocols
Provide occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' ability to perform activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs)
Assess and treat deficits in fine motor skills, coordination, cognition, and visual-perceptual function
Fabricate and fit orthotics/splints, and recommend adaptive equipment or assistive technology as indicated
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, energy conservation, and safe compensatory techniques
Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans accordingly, and document outcomes to support discharge planning
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, and interdisciplinary care teams to deliver high-quality patient care
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to AOTA standards, state licensure requirements, and facility compliance protocols
