Full Job Description

Overview

Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Laborer and play a vital role in bringing building projects to life! This energetic position offers the opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, supporting skilled tradespeople and ensuring projects progress smoothly and safely. Whether assisting with concrete work, framing, or general site preparation, you’ll be an essential part of creating durable, high-quality structures. Responsibilities

Assist with heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup to maintain a safe and efficient workspace
Support concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction to ensure precise application according to project specifications
Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively on various construction sites
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assist with layout and installation tasks
Install rebar, metal stud framing, masonry elements, and perform basic carpentry including trim carpentry and caulking
Support installation of flooring, stucco, roofing, plastering, and other finishing tasks to meet project quality standards
Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to protect yourself and your teammates while working on diverse projects such as renovations or restorations

Requirements

Proven experience working on construction projects with knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, cutting, and pumping techniques
Mechanical knowledge including understanding of schematics, blueprint specification interpretation, and construction estimating
Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and ability to adhere strictly to safety regulations at all times
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, heavy equipment (such as lifts or pumps), and perform heavy lifting regularly
Strong understanding of various trades such as carpentry (frame & trim), masonry, roofing, stucco application, plastering, restoration work and metal stud framing
Good physical stamina for standing long hours, climbing scaffolding or ladders, bending or lifting heavy materials throughout the workday
Excellent communication skills for interpreting technical drawings and following detailed construction plans accurately
