Full Job Description

Construction Contract Billing Administrator Assistant

Calmex Engineering, Inc is a local Contractor specializing in General Engineering, Grading and Asphalt Paving. We offer competitive Salary, Health Insurance, Vacation and a Retirement Plan

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as a construction or contract administrator assistant with Caltrans and City Public Works and will be able to immediately step into this role
High school diploma and three years of experience in a similar role

Responsibilities

The Contracts Billing Administrator will ASSIST on the following items:

Fill out necessary contract documents which are consistent from contract to contract
Make job binders for office and field
Billing and Collections
Request Bonds and Insurance Certificates from Insurance Carriers, job specific
Submit general contractor prequalification info
Email invoices to customers
Track contract payments and log in using excel spreadsheet
Approve job specific vendor invoices
Send emails/make phone calls on outstanding balances due
Knowledge of Oil Index a plus
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, basic knowledge of Nice Touch and ICAS a plus
Must be organized, detail oriented, able to multitask, and able to work with Estimator, Field Project Manager and Superintendents
Review and submit change orders, extra work billings and other contract modifications
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Scanning and Filing
Other related responsibilities and projects as assigned
Work hours are Monday-Friday, 7 am-4:00 pm Full Time

Must have excellent attention to detail and organizational skills in a fast paced environment.

Compensation is based on experience.

Pay: $41,600.00 - $55,000.00 per year
