JW Fulfillment, JW Fulfillment, a leading warehouse and distribution system provider with an extensive logistics network across North America and Europe, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Operation & Maintenance Engineer based in Los Angeles.
This role is responsible for maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, including network and hardware setup, system configuration, and troubleshooting to ensure stable daily operations. The position also involves maintaining internal systems such as WMS and FMS, ensuring data security, providing technical support and training to staff, and assisting with system optimization and information security projects.The ideal candidate has solid technical knowledge, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, bilingual, and multicultural logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure the stable operation of all company network, hardware, and endpoint devices through proper installation, configuration, and maintenance.
· Provide remote IT support for warehouses across the U.S., troubleshooting computers, printers, PDAs, label printers, surveillance devices, network issues, and system-related problems to ensure uninterrupted operations.
· Responsible for IT on-site acceptance for new or ongoing warehouse construction projects across the U.S., including network cabling, surveillance systems, low-voltage equipment, and automation devices.
· Implement and enforce IT operation policies, data protection protocols, and information security standards.
· Execute regular data backup and recovery processes to ensure system integrity and business continuity.
· Provide on-site and remote technical support for warehouse operations, including software, hardware, and network troubleshooting.
· Deliver IT training and technical guidance to employees to improve system usage and efficiency.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams and vendors to support system integration and infrastructure improvement.
· Participate in IT optimization, automation, and cybersecurity enhancement projects.
· Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Must be eligible to work in the United State.
· A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
· A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT operations, network administration, or system maintenance, preferably in a logistics or warehousing environment.
· Strong technical proficiency in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Windows and Linux operating systems.
· Candidates with hands-on network implementation experience and strong familiarity with Cisco, H3C, and Ruijie networking equipment are preferred.
· Familiarity with internal business systems such as WMS, FMS, or ERP platforms.
· Solid understanding of information security principles, data protection, and system backup protocols.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to respond quickly to operational issues.
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear technical guidance to non-technical users.
· Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin Chinese and English is required.
· Candidates with experience in low-voltage projects are preferred.
