Overview
Join our dynamic team as a Hiring Server and become a vital part of delivering exceptional dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding talented servers who thrive in fast-paced, customer-focused environments. Your enthusiasm and keen eye for hospitality excellence will help us build a team that consistently exceeds guest expectations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your leadership skills while contributing to a vibrant food industry setting.

Duties

Conduct interviews and evaluate candidates for server positions, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and hospitality mindset
Assist in onboarding new hires by providing training on POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, food handling, sanitation, and customer service protocols
Collaborate with management to identify staffing needs based on restaurant volume and special events like fine dining nights or nightclub evenings
Maintain accurate records of applicant information, interview notes, and hiring status to streamline the recruitment process
Support the team by understanding restaurant operations including food preparation, serving techniques, bussing, and host/hostess responsibilities
Promote a positive candidate experience by clearly communicating job expectations, benefits, and growth opportunities
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and food industry regulations during the hiring process

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant or food service environments with knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and guest relations
Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and reservations management
Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence and guest satisfaction
Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting while multitasking between interviews and administrative tasks
Knowledge of upselling techniques to enhance sales performance during the hiring process and future team development
Experience in fine dining or nightclub settings is a plus for understanding diverse service styles
Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and calculating tips or sales figures
