Full Job Description

J. H. Berry & Gilbert, Inc. is seeking an experienced individual to assist in managing our commercial real estate portfolio. Applicants must possess a passion for establishing and maintaining strong relationships, exhibit professionalism and excellent interpersonal skills, and demonstrate a willingness to provide superior customer service.

Responsibilities:

· Perform routine maintenance to include but not limited to: plumbing, light electrical, specific janitorial task, etc.

· Patrolling of building, grounds, and parking structures for cleanliness, safety, overall good appearance at any of the facilities you are assigned to

· Provide and foster positive relationships with tenants, vendors, contractors, prospective and existing clients, through effective marketing and communication tactics.

· Bid, negotiate, and manage vendor contracts in accordance with agreement.

· Participate in leasing and client team meetings and ensure effective communication between leasing and property team members in order to achieve client’s goals and objectives.

· Develop/implement comprehensive annual inspection process for properties; complete weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual inspections as required for assets.

· Assist in coordinating and overseeing tenant and building construction work to ensure timely and accurate completion of improvements, when engaged by client.

· Schedule, supervise and direct activities of outside vendors.

· Continue education in the property management sector/trends.

· Attain knowledge of best practices within the industry.

· Interact regularly with clients to ensure that objectives are being met, anticipates, and responds quickly to customer’s needs.
