Position Summary
The Orange County Staffing Manager is responsible for the overall performance, growth, and day-to-day operations of the Orange County market. This role leads sales efforts, client relationships, recruiting alignment, and service execution while managing an internal team and supporting a large field workforce.
This position is accountable for both revenue growth and operational excellence, ensuring client expectations are consistently met and exceeded.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Drive revenue growth through new business development and expansion of existing accounts
- Maintain an active presence through client meetings, networking, and industry events
- Establish and achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales goals
- Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships
Client Relationship Management
- Maintain strong client relationships through consistent communication and follow-up
- Address and resolve client concerns promptly and professionally
- Conduct post-event follow-ups and implement service improvements
- Maintain visibility at key client accounts and events
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead, coach, and develop internal staff including recruiters and coordinators
- Ensure accountability across performance, communication, and execution
- Support hiring, onboarding, and performance management processes
- Foster a positive, team-oriented, and results-driven culture
Field Staff Oversight & Quality Control
- Maintain a reliable and high-performing field staff roster aligned with client demand
- Monitor staff performance, attendance, and professionalism
- Address performance issues through coaching, documentation, and corrective action
- Conduct event check-ins and provide real-time support when needed
- Reinforce company policies, service standards, and expectations
Operations & Execution
- Oversee daily operations to ensure accurate and efficient service delivery
- Ensure client orders are properly staffed and aligned with expectations
- Partner with accounting on billing, contracts, and client terms
- Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable labor laws
- Provide hands-on support during escalations or high-priority events
Performance & Reporting
- Track key performance indicators including revenue, fill rates, and retention
- Monitor team activity and ensure consistent follow-up and outreach
- Analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly
- Report performance updates to regional leadership
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in staffing, hospitality, sales, or leadership roles
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive performance
- Experience managing field-based or hourly workforces preferred
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- High level of accountability and ownership
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems
- Reliable transportation required
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays as needed
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, and move between office and event environments
- Frequent use of computer, phone, and standard office equipment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds
- Extended periods of focus, multitasking, and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under time-sensitive conditions
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $70,304 annually
Incentive Compensation:
Monthly profit-based bonus opportunity tied to market performance and key business metrics
