Cabinet Maker / General Woodworker
Dean Daniels Designs, a leading designer and manufacturer of high-end custom architectural millwork and cabinetry, is seeking a skilled Cabinet Maker / General Woodworker to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in custom woodworking, be proficient in reading shop drawings, and have experience operating a variety of woodworking machinery including table saws, sliding saws, panel saws, routers, edge banders, and other fabrication equipment. Working closely with our production team, you will play a key role in bringing bespoke residential and commercial projects to life with exceptional craftsmanship and attention to detail.Our projects range from luxury residential interiors to high-end commercial installations throughout Southern California. We take pride in delivering outstanding quality and exceeding our clients' expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from detailed shop drawings and production documents.
- Manufacture and assemble custom cabinetry, millwork, and architectural woodwork.
- Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently, including table saws, sliding saws, panel saws, routers, edge banders, sanders, and other shop equipment.
- Install hinges, drawer systems, hardware, and other cabinet components.
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship, accuracy, and quality control.
- Work collaboratively with designers, project managers, and fellow craftsmen to meet production schedules.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with company safety standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of woodworking or cabinetmaking experience.
- Ability to accurately read and interpret shop drawings.
- Experience working with a variety of woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
