Full Job Description

Job Title: Senior Database Engineer (DBA)

Department: Technology

Background

We are a fast-growing cross-border logistics technology company with business spanning global multi-region warehousing, real-time shipment tracking, cross-border customs data exchange, and logistics financial settlement. The company processes large volumes of shipment tracking updates, order queries, warehouse operations, financial settlement, and customer data access requests every day. Database stability, data consistency, backup and recovery, access permission control, and data security compliance are core requirements. We are looking for an experienced DBA expert to join us in building a stable, secure, and auditable data infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Core Database Operations: Responsible for high-availability deployment, daily monitoring, backup and recovery, and troubleshooting of the company's MySQL, OceanBase, Redis, MongoDB, and Oracle databases.

Large-Scale Migration & Upgrades: Lead TB-level online database migrations across data centers and across clouds, such as Azure / AWS, version upgrades, and data archiving projects, ensuring zero business interruption and zero data loss.

Performance Optimization & Stability: Analyze slow queries and design appropriate indexes; optimize Redis cache hit rate and MongoDB aggregation pipeline performance; resolve high-concurrency bottlenecks such as logistics trajectory write peaks and inventory deduction.

Architecture Design & Standards: Participate in business database schema reviews; develop sharding solutions, such as ShardingSphere / Proxy, and read-write separation solutions; refine DBA operations SOPs and full-lifecycle data governance.

Automation & Cost Management: Develop automated operations tools, including backup verification, health inspection, and capacity forecasting.

Collaborative Support: Work with development and operations teams to diagnose and fix database-related issues for the logistics order system, POS / DMS, real-time dashboards, and more.

Requirements

Mandatory Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or above in a computer-related major, with 5+ years of DBA experience, including at least 3 years of DBA experience in large-scale online production environments with average daily QPS > 10,000.
Deep MySQL expertise: familiar with InnoDB internals, GTID replication, Orchestrator high availability, and hands-on sharding experience.
Redis proficiency: familiar with 5+ data structures, persistence mechanisms such as RDB / AOF, cluster scaling, hot-key governance, and big-key governance.
Oracle familiarity: daily operations and performance optimization.
Large-scale migration experience: led at least 2 TB-level cross-data-center / cross-cloud smooth database migration projects using tools such as DTM, OMS, or gh-ost.
Performance tuning ability: able to independently perform deep optimization across hardware, operating system, database parameters, SQL, and architecture, and produce quantifiable reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

DBA experience with cross-border logistics, e-commerce, or financial transaction systems, with an understanding of multi-region data compliance such as GDPR.
Familiarity with other databases, including TiDB, ClickHouse, and Elasticsearch.
Proficiency in Python / Go / Shell, with experience building automated DBA tool platforms.
Cloud vendor certifications, such as AWS SAA / DOP or Alibaba Cloud ACP / ACE, or database certifications such as OCP or MCDBA.
Experience operating stateful databases in Kubernetes environments.
Able to communicate in Chinese.
