About Us

At Qué Vida Tacos, we’re more than just tacos — we create experiences. From office lunches and corporate catering to weddings, parties, school events, and community gatherings, we bring bold flavors and hospitality to every event we serve. We’re looking for an energetic, relationship-driven Outside Sales & Catering Events Representative to help grow our catering and private events business throughout Orange County and surrounding areas.

Position Summary

The Outside Sales & Catering Events Representative is responsible for generating new catering and event business through community outreach, networking, relationship building, and direct sales efforts. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being out in the community, connecting with people, and helping clients plan memorable events.

This is a highly motivated sales role with strong earning potential tied to performance and event growth.

Key Responsibilities

Generate new catering and event leads through:
Local business outreach
Networking events
Schools and sports organizations
Corporate offices
Wedding and event venues
Community partnerships
Build and maintain relationships with repeat catering clients
Promote catering packages, taco carts, private events, and specialty offerings
Respond to catering inquiries promptly and professionally
Coordinate event details with customers and internal operations teams
Conduct tastings, client meetings, and venue visits when needed
Maintain organized records of leads, quotes, and booked events
Collaborate with marketing efforts and local promotions
Help represent the Qué Vida brand at community and promotional events

Qualifications

Previous experience in outside sales, catering sales, hospitality, restaurant sales, or event coordination preferred
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
Organized with strong follow-through
Professional appearance and positive, vibrant attitude
Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends for events
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
