The Clinical Educator Perioperative Services will support a full spectrum of Perioperative Services, including the Operating Room, Pre-Op, PACU, Same Day Surgery, and Sterile Processing. The environment is fast-paced yet highly coordinated, supported by advanced surgical technology and strong physician alignment. This leader will oversee orientation, competency validation, continuing education, workflow optimization, and quality initiatives across Surgical Services. Expect meaningful autonomy in curriculum design, hands-on coaching in the OR, and visible collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia, and nursing operations. The role blends bedside credibility with operational oversight, ensuring clinical standards translate seamlessly into daily practice while fostering measurable staff development and long-term professional growth.

Reporting directly to perioperative nursing leadership, this role partners closely with OR managers, charge nurses, physician champions, infection prevention, sterile processing leadership, and quality teams. The educator will guide clinical onboarding, competency programs, regulatory readiness, and performance improvement initiatives while serving as a trusted advisor to frontline staff. Executive leaders actively support education as a lever for patient safety, operational efficiency, and staff retention, giving this position genuine strategic influence.
