SUMMARY: The Activity Center Manager Assistant supports the daily operations of the Activity Center by assisting with program coordination, member engagement, administrative tasks, and facility organization. This role helps ensure activities are well-planned, members receive excellent customer service, and the center operates efficiently in compliance with organizational policies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, including regular and consistent attendance. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Associate's degree in Healthcare Administration, Recreation, Business Administration, Social Services, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of administrative, customer service, or program coordination experience, preferably in a healthcare, senior services, community center, or recreational setting.
- Experience working with older adults or diverse populations is preferred.
- Previous experience supporting events, activities, or community engagement programs is a plus.
OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES:
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and basic office equipment.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service and build positive relationships with members, staff, and community partners.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual (English/Vietnamese) is a plus.

LANGUAGE: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups and customers or employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
