Full Job Description

For 27 years, NurseSpring has stood as a beacon of stability and compassionate care under consistent ownership. Now, we’re seeking a Regional Vice President of Nursing & Pediatric Care Excellence to lead FOUR Directors of Nursing across Florida. This role is pivotal—not just clinical leadership, but a heartfelt commitment to medically fragile children, young adults, and all loved ones receiving services. You will be supported by a leadership team deeply rooted in Florida, personally invested in your success and the highest standards of patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide visionary leadership and hands-on management to four Directors of Nursing across multiple Florida offices—Jacksonville, Tampa, Pensacola, Tallahassee—with regular travel to these locations and the soon-to-be fifth office in Clearwater. A company vehicle will be provided to support your travel needs.
Oversee nursing operations with specialized expertise in pediatric care for medically fragile children on Medicaid, ensuring family-centered, compassionate, and compliant care delivery.
Drive strategic initiatives to meet critical performance drivers including patient safety, regulatory compliance, staff utilization, and exceptional patient and family satisfaction.
Foster a culture of empathy, accountability, and clinical excellence that honors the trust families place in us.
Ensure 100% compliance with AHCA standards, EVV, EMR, clinical credentialing, and audit readiness with zero tolerance for lapses.
Lead recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies focused on building a skilled, compassionate nursing workforce.
Collaborate closely with clinical teams, case managers, and external partners to optimize care coordination and outcomes for our patients and families.
Monitor and report on KPIs, driving continuous improvement and corrective actions to sustain excellence across all locations.

Must-Have Experience:

Proven leadership managing multiple nursing teams or directors, with strong pediatric nursing operations expertise.
Extensive experience working with medically fragile children receiving Medicaid and private duty services in Florida.
Demonstrated success in pediatric care environments, understanding the unique challenges and rewards of this specialty.
Willingness and ability to lead by example through regular travel (up to 50% of the time) to multiple office locations across Florida.
Minimum of five (5) years of private duty or pediatric home care leadership experience
Current, active Florida Registered Nurse license in good standing
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with patients, families, nurses and referral sources
