Job Description:

Machine Operator

A well-established abrasive manufacturing company located in Spring Valley is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join its production team. The ideal candidate must have prior machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Experience operating any of the following machines will receive strong consideration:

Rotary Converting Machines
EDP Die Cutting Machines
CSM (Coated Abrasive Converting) Equipment
Slitting Machines
Flatbed Manual Die Cutters

Candidates with experience operating similar converting, die-cutting, slitting, or web-processing equipment in a manufacturing environment are encouraged to apply. While direct experience with the listed machinery is a plus, candidates must have prior machine operation experience and demonstrate the ability to learn and safely operate specialized production equipment.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machinery and production equipment
Adjust machine settings to ensure efficient operation and product quality
Perform routine inspections and basic troubleshooting of equipment
Load raw materials and remove finished products from machines
Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company specifications
Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements
Assist with other production-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

Prior machine operation experience is required
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment required
Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
Ability to stand and work on feet for an 8-hour shift
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Reliable attendance and punctuality required
Must be authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to read, write, and speak English sufficiently to understand safety instructions, training materials, work orders, machine operating procedures, and workplace communications

Work Environment

Industrial/manufacturing environment
Exposure to machinery, dust, and noise typical of manufacturing operations
PPE required (provided by employer)

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
