VNA of WNY is Hiring for a Manager of Patient Financial Services:

The Visiting Nursing Association of WNY is recognized as the very first VNA in the United States. Today the VNA of WNY is the largest provider of skilled home health care providing services in 10 counties across WNY as well as an office in Bradford, PA. Last year we cared for 27,000 patients and performed over 500,000 home visits. We have been recognized by Medicare as a 4.5 start agency for our exceptional quality. We have also been recognized by a national independent rating firm for the past 8 years as a top 5% performing home care agency in the entire country.

Preferred or Minimum requirements:

Bachelors in accounting, finance or similar field required
Masters in Business preferred
3 years exp. in homecare billing/operations preferred
2 years exp. in a staff supervisory role required

Description:

The Manager, Patient Financial Services Claims and AR, is responsible for managing the daily operations of Patient Financial Services (PFS), and all related billing and collection practices. Maintains compliance standards that meet or exceed all state and federal regulatory requirements. Manages all aspects of accounts receivable including charge capture, pre-bill and bill edits to support clean claims, claim generation and reconciliation, reimbursement, denials management, follow up functions and revenue cycle functions. May include PFS for CHHA, LHCSA, FPS, VNA Pharmacy and Kaleida Services.
Collaborates with all stakeholders supporting PFS, including administrative, clinical, and financial leadership and staff. Maintains positive relationships with payers.
Maintains culture of accountability with staff and promotes a positive, team oriented environment. Influences positive operational and financial outcomes
