Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Auto Body Estimator to join our fast-paced automotive repair team. In this vital role, you will evaluate vehicle damage, prepare accurate repair estimates, and coordinate with customers and technicians to ensure seamless service. Your expertise in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and auto estimating will drive customer satisfaction and help us deliver top-quality repairs efficiently. Duties

Assess vehicle damage thoroughly by inspecting auto body, mechanical systems, and structural components to determine repair scope
Prepare detailed and accurate repair estimates using industry-standard estimating software, ensuring transparency for customers
Communicate clearly with customers about repair procedures, costs, and timelines to foster trust and satisfaction
Collaborate with technicians and service advisors to prioritize repairs and streamline workflow
Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates, repairs, and customer interactions for quality assurance and accountability
Assist in managing parts ordering, invoicing, and cash handling processes related to estimates
Answer phone calls daily and help with customer questions and concerns.

Requirements

Proven auto body experience or auto service management background with a strong understanding of automotive collision repair procedures
Knowledge of auto estimating software and service writing practices within an automotive repair environment
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally
