Full Job Description

Circle Round is a curated consignment store in North Portland specializing in secondhand slow fashion, vintage, and natural fiber clothing. We’re passionate about extending the lifecycle of garments, and making sustainable fashion accessible to our community.

We are looking for a full-time buyer to join our growing team.

If getting dressed is your favorite part of the day, you get excited talking about vintage Levi's, and you have strong opinions about the fashion industry's impact on the planet, we'd love to meet you. We're looking for someone who understands slow fashion, appreciates quality construction and natural fibers, and genuinely enjoys helping customers build wardrobes they'll love.

As a buyer at Circle Round you’ll play an important role in shaping our inventory and creating a welcoming environment. Responsibilities include:

-Selecting merchandise and entering inventory into SimpleConsign accurately and efficiently.

-Steaming, tagging, and merchandising new arrivals.

-Starting fitting rooms for customers and putting away go-backs.

-Maintaining positive customer interactions.

-Checking out customers accurately.

-General cleaning, maintenance, and restocking.

-Proper cash handling.

Required qualifications:

-At least 1 year of experience working in the secondhand clothing industry.

-A passion for secondhand clothing and sustainability.

-Knowledge of vintage clothing, ethical brands, and garment construction.

-Familiarity with POS systems.

-Strong communication skills.

-Experience with small repairs and mending a plus.

Weekend availability is a must.

Working full time at Circle Round means working 4 days a week. You can expect to work at most 32 hours a week. We will guarantee 2 days off together, and a set schedule. There are opportunities to cover shifts as needed. There is an employee discount and first dibs on all new inventory.
