Full Job Description

Surfsand Resort is seeking an experienced Hotel Operations Manager to help lead our team and support the day-to-day operations of our award-winning beachfront resort. This is a hands-on hospitality leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys developing teams, and is committed to delivering exceptional guest service.

What You'll Do

Provide daily operational leadership across resort departments.
Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD) when the General Manager is off-site, including evenings, weekends, and some holidays.
Support department leaders in delivering exceptional guest and team member experiences.
Coach, mentor, and assist with training to ensure service excellence and operational consistency.
Resolve guest concerns professionally and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and brand expectations.
Assist with operational planning, staffing, and process improvements.
Support the Accounting Department with financial and administrative responsibilities, including:
Accounts payable
Invoice coding
Bank deposits and banking duties
Payroll processing and related tasks
Other accounting and administrative functions as assigned

What We're Looking For

Minimum of 5 years of hotel management or supervisory experience required.
Experience with a branded hotel is strongly preferred.
Training and experience in:
Hotel front desk operations
Cash handling procedures
Hotel accounting and administrative processes
Or an equivalent combination of education and hospitality experience.
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Comfortable making decisions independently and managing multiple priorities.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems.
High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving abilities.
