A Junior Interior Designer is an intergral part of the design team whose main focus is to support Senior Design staff in all aspects of the design process, research, design development, costing and administration product research, vendor quotes, as well as project management. The ideal candidate will be proficient in SketchUp, Auto CAD, Photoshop, illustrator, and be able to create detailed elevations, cabinet layouts, tile layouts, furniture layouts, etc.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on interior design projects that include conceptual design, schematic design, design development, space planning, and construction documentation to meet client needs and goals
- Support in creating initial concept design packages for projects while brainstorming interior architecture approaches
- Participate in the selection and presentation of layouts, color schemes, hard surface, cabinetry, and furniture selections, fabrics, hardware and lighting
- Create detailed digital designs using software such as SketchUp, CAD, and Adobe Creative Suite tools including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
- Assist in preparing presentation boards, mood boards, and visualizations that communicate design ideas effectively
- Support site visits, measurements, and space planning to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs
- Generate finish plans, specifications & material selections needed for construction
- Assist designers with design concepts, product pricing, showroom displays, and client communication
- Participate in the construction administration for projects, reviewing submittals, and finish samples
- Be an active member of the design team by staying updated on current trends in interior design, forward thinking, creative, curious, and mindful to your design aesthetic and approach towards clients and towards members of the LD team

Competitive Salary based on experience
Pay: $53,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
