Full Job Description

Brooks Wine | Amity, OR

At Brooks, hospitality is at the center of everything we do. We’re looking for a seasonal server to join our team—someone who brings warmth, curiosity, and a genuine love of people to the guest experience.

This is not a traditional tasting room role. We offer table-side service, a full food menu, and immersive wine experiences in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. If you’re energized by connecting with guests, sharing stories, and creating memorable moments, we’d love to meet you.

We are looking for one or two more people in either full or part time capacity for this seasonal position with opportunity to move into a year round position.

What You’ll Do

Welcome guests warmly and engage them within moments of arrival
Guide guests through wine tastings, sharing the Brooks story, wines, and offerings
Create thoughtful, memorable experiences that encourage connection and return visits
Build relationships that naturally lead to wine sales and Wine Club membership
Confidently sell and recommend wines, including upselling when appropriate
Set up and maintain indoor and outdoor tasting spaces
Open, present, and occasionally decant wines with care and attention
Maintain stock of wine and retail items throughout the tasting room
Process transactions for on-site purchases and shipping orders
Keep guest areas clean, organized, and welcoming at all times
Lead engaging and informative winery tours as needed
Represent Brooks at occasional off-site events
Monitor guest experience responsibly and ensure safe alcohol service

What We’re Looking For

A strong foundation in hospitality with a natural ability to connect with people
Wine knowledge (or a desire to learn quickly and continuously)
Clear, confident communication—one-on-one and in small group settings
Comfortable speaking in front of guests and leading experiences
Self-motivated, team-oriented, and attentive to detail
Calm and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
Positive, professional, and solution-oriented mindset

Requirements

Must be 21+
Minimum 2 years of serving and/or tasting room experience
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Availability to work weekends and a flexible schedule
Experience with TOCK and Commerce7 is a plus
Wine certifications are a plus, but not required
