Job Overview

NEW CAFE OPENING
We are opening a high end Italian Cafe with a very sleek energy. We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Cafe Manager to lead our vibrant café team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, ensure food quality and safety standards, and create a welcoming atmosphere that keeps guests coming back. Your leadership will drive the success of the café by maintaining high standards in service, food preparation, and overall restaurant management. If you thrive in fast-paced environments and possess a passion for hospitality and food service management, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact!

Duties

Lead and supervise all aspects of café operations, including opening, closing, and shift management
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and food presentation to ensure quality standards are met consistently
A good handle on coffee and hot drinks.
Manage inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining proper stock levels using POS systems.
Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and balancing registers at shift end
Train, develop, and motivate staff to deliver outstanding customer service while adhering to food safety regulations
Monitor staff scheduling, conduct interviews for hiring new team members, and oversee staff training & development programs
Ensure compliance with health & safety standards, food handling procedures, and sanitation protocols

Qualifications

Proven experience in food service management within quick service or fast food restaurant environments
Strong background in food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen management
Familiarity with POS systems; experience with cash handling is essential
Demonstrated supervisory experience with team management, training & development skills
Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food safety regulations
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
Hospitality management experience in casual dining or fine dining settings is highly desirable
Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
