Responsibilities / What You'll Do
- Represent clients in immigration matters before USCIS and Immigration Court (as training and experience allow).
- Prepare legal strategies, applications, motions, and supporting documentation.
- Conduct legal research and case analysis.
- Work closely with paralegals, supervisors, and senior attorneys.
- Maintain excellent communication with clients throughout their cases.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on negotiation strategies for client settlements or agreements across various legal disciplines
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction and eligible to appear before immigration agencies and courts (ACTIVE BAR).
- Strong legal writing and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Passion for immigration law and serving immigrant communities.
- Spanish proficiency is highly preferred.
- Previous immigration law experience is a plus—but not required.
