TEACHER - PARAPROFESSIONAL - TEACHING ASSISTANT - TEACHING AIDE ***URGENT HIRING NEED" LEARNING SPECIALIST

WHO WE ARE:

Private School needs non-certified teachers and paraprofessionals
Candidates do not need to be state certified!!

Do you have experience with children/students who have special needs and/or behavior issues, specifically Autism Spectrum Disorder? ****Prior experience preferred, but not required*****

Our Teachers/Learning Specialists work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and sometimes intense environment to provide educational instruction and behavioral intervention to our precious students. However, the achievements we see in our students are life- changing.

The non-certified Teacher position candidates will meet these minimum qualifications:
****High School diploma. Experience of at least 1 year working with kids/adolescents diagnosed with a developmental disability (will consider candidates with less experience)***Strong written and verbal communication skills***Can work with multiple students at the same time***Ability to meet deadline***Experience with use of Microsoft Office***Shared values of Lodestone Academy***Must pass a Background Check

The Non-Certified Teacher and Learning Specialists will:
 Arrive punctually to work on time each day
 Work with students as assigned by ESE teachers/clinical team
 Collect ongoing data for target behaviors of students
 Complete daily notes
 Teach lessons assigned or created by ESE Teacher/clinical team
 Implement behavioral intervention plans as designed by the clinical team
 Interact with parents and other stakeholders in a professional manner
 Work with Lodestone Academy team members to solve any problems that arise
 Complete any tasks that are assigned by the ESE teacher/clinical team

*****The starting wage for our non-certified Teachers and Learning Specialists is $15 per hour.

Most of Lodestone Academy's students are diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Some students have behavior issues. You will be safety trained to work with these students.
