Oncologic AI is a healthcare technology company headquartered in Orlando, FL, purpose built to automate and streamline the operational and clinical workflows that oncology practices navigate every day. From prior authorizations and care coordination to documentation and compliance, our platform helps oncology providers reduce administrative burden so they can focus on what matters most , their patients. We are a fast growing startup operating at the intersection of AI, healthcare, and oncology, and we are building a world-class team to scale our mission.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Director of Client Success who is equal parts , relationship builder, and healthcare technology operator. This is not a traditional CS role , we need someone who has led (not simply participated in) complex technology implementations for healthcare or life sciences clients, who is fluent in oncology, precision medicine, or laboratory operations, and who can build and lead a client success function from the ground up with minimal oversight. You will own the full post sale client experience, driving onboarding, implementation, adoption, and long term retention across our oncology client base. You will report directly to the CEO and serve as the voice of the customer internally.

What You'll Own

Lead end-to-end client onboarding and implementation for new oncology practice and lab accounts, from kickoff through go-live and optimization

Serve as the primary strategic partner for clients post-sale, managing relationships with practice administrators, oncology clinical leads, lab directors, and executive stakeholders

Build, document, and continuously improve scalable onboarding and implementation processes, playbooks, and frameworks

Drive product adoption, utilization, and value realization across your client portfolio

Own retention and renewal metrics — proactively identify churn risk and develop mitigation strategies

Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance, surface opportunities, and deepen relationships

Serve as the internal voice of the customer — translate client feedback, pain points, and product requests into actionable input for Product and Engineering teams

Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Operations to ensure seamless client experiences

Build and lead the Client Success team as the organization scales, including hiring, mentoring, and establishing team KPIs and performance standards

Manage project timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications across concurrent client implementations, independently and with minimal direction

What We're Looking For

Required

Experience in Management, or technical project management at a SaaS or healthcare technology company, with direct, hands-on exposure to oncology, precision medicine, clinical laboratory operations, or specialty care settings — this is a non-negotiable, not a nice-to-have

A clear, verifiable track record of leading (owning timelines, decisions, and outcomes) end-to-end implementations from kickoff to go-live — not just executing within a structure someone else built. Be prepared to walk through specific implementations you personally led, start to finish

Proven experience building processes from scratch in a startup or high-growth environment

Hands-on, working familiarity with healthcare technology integrations, including HL7, FHIR, and EMR/EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, Meditech, or similar) — able to speak to specific integrations you were personally responsible for

Genuine familiarity with AI-powered or automation-driven software products — able to speak knowledgeably about how AI/ML capabilities are typically implemented and adopted by clients

Strong project management fundamentals — able to manage multiple concurrent implementations, track milestones, and hold stakeholders accountable

Experience managing executive-level client relationships in a B2B environment

Demonstrated ability to drive adoption and retention metrics in a SaaS platform context

Excellent communication skills — able to translate technical concepts for non-technical healthcare and clinical audiences (including oncology nursing and lab staff) and escalate the right things at the right time

Comfort operating with a high degree of autonomy and ambiguity, and a demonstrated pattern of driving conversations and decisions proactively rather than waiting to be led

Preferred

Prior clinical, nursing, or laboratory background specifically within oncology

PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification

Prior experience building or managing a client success team from the ground up

Proficiency with CRM and CS platforms such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Gainsight, or ChurnZero
