About the Opportunity
We are an Orlando-based media company disguised as a real estate team- looking for a creative, dependable videographer and video editor who wants an opportunity to develop their skills while producing a large amount of real-world content.
We are not necessarily looking for the person with the longest résumé, the most expensive equipment, or the most polished professional reel.
We are looking for someone who genuinely loves videography, enjoys searching for the right shot, understands how visuals help tell a story, and takes pride in making each project better than the last.
Professional experience is welcome, but it is not required. A talented recent graduate, self-taught creator, experienced hobbyist, or early-career filmmaker may be an excellent fit.
What matters most is your creative eye, reliability, coachability, and willingness to grow.
How the Position Is Divided
This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position divided approximately equally between field production and editing:
- Approximately 25 to 30 hours per week capturing video, drone footage, interviews, property footage, neighborhood footage, events, and Central Florida lifestyle content.
- Approximately 10 to 15 hours per week editing content. Secondary part to the role but we are hoping to find someone who wants to develop in both areas.
The exact balance may change from week to week based on production needs.
What You Will Film
Our content focuses primarily on Orlando and Central Florida real estate, communities, relocation, development, and lifestyle.
Assignments may include:
- Established communities and new-construction communities
- Neighborhoods, streetscapes, parks, lakes, and local amenities
- Restaurants, shopping districts, attractions, and community destinations
- Drone footage and establishing shots
- On-camera real estate and relocation videos
- Team interviews, property tours, and community tours
- Local events and special projects - B roll gathering
- Vertical content for Instagram, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and other platforms
Primary Responsibilities Field Production
- Capture creative ground-level and aerial B-roll throughout Orlando and Central Florida.
- Film properties, neighborhoods, communities, businesses, amenities, events, interviews, and lifestyle content.
- Operate cameras, drones, gimbals, and microphones
- Identify strong angles, compositions, camera movements, establishing shots, and visual details.
- Set up basic lighting and audio for interviews and on-camera presentations.
- Follow shot lists while also looking for creative shots that were not originally planned.
- Review footage in the field to confirm that assignments have been captured properly.
- Safely transport, maintain, and care for company-provided equipment.
Editing and Post-Production
We have more than one full time editor on staff already and zero videographers. This is NOT a primary editing role and have no intention for it to be one, however we do like to have good cross-skills because it's important to the shots we obtain and helpful when production pipelines demand it.
- Edit long-form YouTube videos and short-form social media content.
- Review footage and select the strongest takes, reactions, angles, and B-roll.
- Build clear, engaging edits that support the subject and hold the viewer’s attention.
- Perform basic color correction, audio cleanup, stabilization, music placement, and graphics work.
- Create versions in the correct dimensions and formats for YouTube and social platforms.
- Organize, label, back up, and maintain footage, project files, graphics, and other media assets to cloud folders
What We Are Looking For
- A genuine interest in videography, filmmaking, editing, and visual storytelling.
- A natural eye for composition, movement, lighting, and interesting visual details.
- A portfolio, reel, YouTube channel, social media account, school project, or personal work that demonstrates your ability.
- Basic understanding of camera settings, including exposure, focus, frame rate, shutter speed, and white balance.
- Experience editing with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or comparable software. (The is a plus, not a must)
- Experience operating a drone safely and confidently.
- Ability to receive direct feedback and apply it without taking revisions personally.
- Ability to work independently in the field and remain productive without constant supervision.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to file management.
- Dependability, punctuality, curiosity, and a positive attitude.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel to assignments throughout Orlando and Central Florida.
A college degree is not required.
Professional production experience is not required.
Drone Certification
FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certification is strongly preferred.
What We Provide
- Full-time W-2 employment with consistent weekly hours.
- Quality company-provided cameras, lenses, drones, stabilization equipment, microphones, lighting, and accessories.
- Company-provided editing computer, storage, and editing software.
- Reimbursement for approved business mileage when using a personal vehicle.
- A steady volume of real-world projects and opportunities to build a meaningful portfolio.
- Direct feedback and clearly defined expectations.
- Room to improve, take on greater creative responsibility, and grow with the position.
- A formal performance and compensation review after the first 90 days.
Compensation and Schedule
Starting pay is $20–$24 per hour, based on portfolio quality, editing ability, drone experience, technical knowledge, reliability, and ability to work independently.
This is an hourly, nonexempt position expected to work approximately 40 hours per week.
The normal schedule is Monday through Friday, generally during daytime business hours. The exact start and end times may vary based on production needs and travel.
Occasionally, a sunrise, sunset, community event, interview, or special assignment may require an earlier start, evening work, or weekend availability. These assignments will generally be scheduled with advance notice.
When possible, the employee’s schedule may be adjusted within the same workweek. Overtime will be paid when applicable.
How to Apply
Please submit the following:
- Your résumé or a brief overview of your work and educational experience.

- A brief explanation of your specific role in each example submitted.
- The camera equipment and editing programs you have experience using.
- A description of your drone experience and current FAA Part 107 certification status.
- Three to five sentences explaining why this position interests you.
Personal projects, school assignments, YouTube videos, social media content, and unpaid creative work are welcome. We care more about what you can create and your potential to grow than whether the project was completed for a major client.
Final candidates may be invited to complete a brief paid filming or editing exercise as part of the selection process.
We are an equal opportunity employer and consider qualified applicants without regard to legally protected characteristics.
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
