Full Job Description

The Investment Analyst position is responsible for assisting the Operations Team in the administration of our clients Total Return Swap Hedge™ (TRS) of executive deferred compensation plans. Operational aspects include, but are not limited to, swap reweights, settlement validation & reporting, tax reporting, ad hoc reporting, investment analysis, and miscellaneous projects.

Responsibilities:

This role will focus on meeting client deliverables with the use of automated reporting tools and vendor based solutions. Core areas of focus are monthly reporting and reweighting, investment analysis, system testing and input.

REPORTING & REWEIGHTING:

Tracking and system importing of data from multiple data sources (plan record keepers, bank counterparties, market sources, etc.)
Calculating and reviewing trade orders for periodic swap reweighting
Tracking and analysis of ETF and mutual fund dividends and capital gains
Calculation and development of periodic report sets
Validation/auditing of bank calculated results

INVESTMENT ANALYSIS:

Analyze the performance of correlated ETF and mutual funds relative to retirement plan investments
Produce quarterly correlation reporting illustrating hedge effectiveness
Research hedging options for use within the TRS

SYSTEM TESTING & INPUT:

Provide user acceptance testing on system enhancements and fixes
Identify future enhancements and efficiencies

MISC PROJECTS:

· Maintenance of internal systems’ data in regards to contacts scheduling, settlement terms, invoicing, etc

· Assisting in SOC-1 testing and reporting
