Orlando Aesthetic Institute is dedicated to providing top-tier surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures, emphasizing safety, privacy, and personalized patient care. Our experienced team combines artistic precision with compassionate attention to ensure optimal results for every individual.

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled PACU RN with circulating experience (FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME) to join our dynamic team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional post-anesthesia care, ensuring patient safety during recovery, and supporting surgical teams with circulating duties. Your expertise will help facilitate smooth patient transitions from operating rooms to recovery, maintaining the highest standards of care and safety.

Responsibilities

Monitor and assess patients’ vital signs, pain levels, and overall condition during post-anesthesia recovery.
Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and IV infusions.
Assist anesthesia providers with airway management in the PACU and OR setting.
Serve as the circulating nurse during surgeries, managing sterile techniques and ensuring proper instrument handling.
Document all patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
Collaborate with surgical teams to coordinate patient care plans and discharge instructions efficiently.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, HIPAA regulations, and safety standards throughout all procedures.

Skills

Proven experience as a PACU RN with circulating duties in a surgical environment.
Strong knowledge of anesthesia recovery protocols and critical care procedures.
Skilled in IV infusion, medication administration, and airway management techniques.
Familiarity with surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and aseptic procedures.
Excellent patient assessment skills coupled with the ability to respond swiftly to emergent situations such as acute pain or airway compromise.
MUST HAVE PACU AND CIRCULATING EXPERIENCE. MINIMUM OF 1 YEAR.
