Director of Scheduling
Position Description

The Scheduling Director is responsible for managing all staffing processes, including staff management, client scheduling and service, and issue resolution. The Scheduling Director will work as part of the Scheduling team.

Position Requirements

Responsibilities:

Manage ongoing client staffing processes, including:
Scheduling caregivers for both new and existing client’s needs.
Managing staff absences to ensure that each client’s needs are being fulfilled.
Manage the matching of caregiver skill level to client needs.
Report all quality assurance concerns to case management promptly.
Report all canceled shifts to operations manager weekly.
Report patterns and trends pertaining to caregiver attendance and behavior to HR.
Monitor all incoming calls and messages are being checked and responded to promptly.
Meeting regularly with team members to ensure quality client care.
Use of fill in are kept to a as needed basis only.
Staffed out two weeks at all time.
Communication with the branches on a regular basis to gather feed back.
Monitor and manage overtime and pay rates are in a healthy range.
Clients have minimal and consistent caregivers .
All staffing coordinators are requesting in writing time off.
All staffing coordinators are following strategic staffing.
Recognize the need for improvement and coach for improvement promptly.
Interview hire and train new staff as needed.
Mange and monitor staff schedules and productivity.
Ensure on call is scheduled and working to care for all clients.
Other duties as assigned
