Overview

Confidential search for a Principal Faculty member to support the clinical phase of a Physician Assistant program. This role works closely with program leadership to oversee clinical education, student progression, and site development while contributing to overall program success.

Position: Principal Faculty – Physician Assistant Program (Clinical Phase)
Location: Orlando, FL
Setting: Hybrid
Reporting to: Program Leadership
Key Responsibilities:

Teach and evaluate students during the clinical phase
Serve as Course Director or Co-Director as assigned
Support clinical site and preceptor recruitment, development, and maintenance
Conduct clinical site evaluations (virtual and onsite)
Track and monitor student progress and performance
Review evaluations, manage documentation, and support remediation as needed
Facilitate end-of-rotation activities and assessments
Mentor and advise students
Participate in faculty meetings, committees, admissions, and accreditation activities
Contribute to curriculum development and continuous program improvement

Required Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited PA program
Current board certification (e.g., NCCPA or equivalent)
Eligible for or active Florida PA licensure
Minimum 3 years of clinical experience
Master’s degree in PA studies or related field

Preferred Background:

Clinical experience in Women’s Health / OBGYN (strongly preferred)
Experience in core rotations such as Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, Surgery, or Behavioral Health
Prior teaching or clinical instruction experience (preferred, not required)
