Leapros Skilled Trades is actively hiring Senior Safety Manager in Apopka, FL. The Senior Safety Manager is a leadership role responsible for building, sustaining, and improving safety programs while collaborating with field leaders to ensure adherence to best-in-class standards. The ideal candidate is a process-oriented problem solver with extensive experience in electrical-related construction safety and a commitment to driving a continuous-improvement safety culture.

Job Type: Permanent

Annual Salary: $120,000 to $140,000 Annually BOE

Licenses/Certifications Required:

OSHA 30
OSHA 500
Certified Safety Professional (CSP)
Associate Safety Professional (ASP)
Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST)
Journeyman or Master Electrician license

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with safety managers, project managers, and field leadership to educate personnel on safety culture and standards.
Build, sustain, and improve safety programs, policies, and organizational practices through early risk assessment.
Hold field leaders and front-line workers accountable for following established safety policies and procedures.
Identify and mitigate unique risks that others might overlook by utilizing expert knowledge and experience.
Maintain relationships with employees, customers, and contractors to effectively influence safe actions and resolve conflicts.
Document, track, and analyze safety data and metrics to measure progress and keep reporting up to date.
Communicate pertinent safety information and investigative findings to the broader team and management.
Provide 24/7 on-call support for safety emergencies or incidents that occur after hours or on weekends.
Travel regularly to regional job sites and occasionally out of state to monitor safety compliance and operations.
Lead coaching efforts to balance safety education with accountability across various project sites.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in Construction or Industrial-related Safety management.
Demonstrated knowledge of and exposure to electrical-related hazards, with electrical contractor experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety or a relevant field is strongly preferred.
Extensive knowledge of OSHA and other applicable safety regulations.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and safety data analysis tools.
Strong leadership, coaching, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional relationships.
Willingness to travel regularly to regional sites and perform overnight travel when required.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform field inspections, which may include climbing ladders and working in various environmental conditions.
Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, and use hands and fingers to operate computers and safety equipment.
Ability to travel to various job sites, including regular regional travel and occasional overnight stays.
Occasional stooping, kneeling, bending, and lifting of equipment as required by site safety assessments.
Must be able to work in environments that may include heights and loud noises.

Pay Transparency:
The anticipated annual salary range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000 annually, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
