Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at a new dental clinic. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in medical administrative support systems and a friendly demeanor to ensure a welcoming environment for all visitors.

Duties

Greet patients and visitors promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive first impression.
Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations using Curve Dental (We can train you for this. Very simple software).
Handle incoming calls and inquiries with professionalism, directing them to the appropriate staff as needed.
Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Process patient intake forms and verify insurance information, including Medicare details.
Assist with billing inquiries and payment processing to facilitate smooth transactions.
Coordinate with dental staff to ensure efficient patient flow throughout the clinic.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and waiting room.

Experience

Previous experience in a dental office or medical administrative support role is preferred.
Familiarity with practice management software such as Curve Dental, Eaglesoft or Open Dental is highly desirable.
Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and composure.
