Full Job Description

Southern HVAC Corporation d/b/a Southern Home Services is a leading provider of essential maintenance, repair, replacement, and new installation for residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC), Plumbing, and Electrical services. Southern Home Services is a rapidly growing platform, adding on average 6-10 new home services markets and brands per year. Currently the company employs 1,000+ employees and serves over 650,000 homeowners in eleven states across the Southeast, Mid-Atlantic and Midwest United States.

We are looking for a goal-oriented and internally driven Inside Sales Manager to assist in building out our dedicated Inside Sales team. The Inside Sales Manager will be a strategic thinker with fantastic organizational and people management skills. The Inside Sales Manager will have excellent coaching and leadership skills with the ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

To ensure success, our Inside Sales Manager will understand the business operation, sales process and decision-making processes needed to achieve the expected sales goals of the dedicated inside sales team. Top candidates will be highly motivated self-starters, innovative, strong decision-makers and outstanding facilitators of learning and change. This role reports into the Director of Customer Engagement Center. During the initial roll-out phase, this role will work hand-in-hand with the Chief Strategy Officer to develop calling lists, sales scripts, sales training materials, staffing requirements and will aid in the selection of inside sales team members.

Location: Southern HVAC Corporation Headquarters in Maitland, FL

Key Responsibilities:

Build and manage appropriate calling lists by using Service Titan output.
Draft calling scripts for both 1) technician repair follow-ups and 2) equipment sales follow-ups on a regular cadence.
Assist in the evaluation and hiring of key members of the Inside Sales team.
Build daily, weekly and monthly sales and outbound calling goals.
Evaluate & track performance and develop set of KPIs to determine performance of inside sales agents.
Create a fun, engaging and rewarding culture and workplace.
Work with senior leadership to develop overall sales goals and build detailed plan to achieve the goals.
Assess individual employees’ skills by listening to phone calls or being present during outbounding efforts.
Effectively align Inside Sales strategy with the organization’s goals.
Select and manage resources, including working with both internal employees and, if necessary, third-party software to develop and deliver Inside Sales process.
Refine Inside Sales approach to ensure best practices are being implemented.

Key Requirements:

Four years of experience in a distributed service industry. Residential trade contractors strongly preferred.
B2C sales experience of no less than one year.
Superb track record of building and developing processes or tools to improve overall work product or increase efficiency.
Critical thinker with innovative problem-solving skills.
The ability to develop relationships, engage with and influence others.
High integrity and operates with truth and transparency.
Is a forward thinker, can respectfully challenge status quo and think beyond the moment.
