La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Orlando I-Drive is seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead our hotel to the next level of operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and financial performance. We are looking for a dynamic hospitality professional with proven leadership skills, strong business acumen, and a passion for developing successful teams.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a motivated leader who understands the Orlando hospitality market and thrives in a high-volume, guest-focused environment.

Position Summary

The General Manager is responsible for the overall operation, financial performance, guest satisfaction, employee engagement, and brand compliance of the hotel. The successful candidate will lead all departments while creating a culture centered on accountability, exceptional guest service, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Direct all day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
Lead, coach, mentor, and develop department managers and hotel associates.
Achieve revenue, profitability, labor, and expense goals.
Manage hotel budgets, forecasting, financial reporting, and P&L performance.
Maintain outstanding guest satisfaction scores and online reputation.
Ensure compliance with Wyndham brand standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Drive revenue through effective sales, marketing, and revenue management strategies.
Recruit, hire, train, and retain top hospitality talent.
Build a positive, high-performing team culture focused on accountability and service excellence.
Work closely with ownership and corporate leadership to achieve operational and financial objectives.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of hotel management experience, including previous experience as a Hotel General Manager or Assistant General Manager ready for advancement.
Wyndham brand experience is preferred.
Experience with IHG, Marriott, Hilton, Hyatt, Choice, or other major hotel brands is highly valued.
Strong knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, sales, housekeeping, front office, maintenance, and food & beverage (if applicable).
Proven ability to improve guest satisfaction, RevPAR, ADR, occupancy, and profitability.
Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and P&L accountability.
Excellent leadership, communication, coaching, and organizational skills.
Ability to motivate teams while maintaining high operational standards.
Proficiency with hotel property management systems and Microsoft Office.
Experience in the Orlando tourism market, International Drive, Convention Center, or Universal Orlando area is a significant advantage.
