Little Angels PPEC provides compassionate, skilled care, and essential resources for children with special medical needs and their families. With three convenient locations across Central Florida, we offer a full spectrum of services including medical day care, skilled nursing, and comprehensive therapy programs covering physical, occupational, and speech therapy for premature infants and children with complex medical conditions.

As an AHCA licensed facility, Little Angels PPEC delivers a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children who require daily nursing care, cannot have their needs fully met in a school setting, or face ongoing non-emergency medical conditions that result in frequent hospital visits.

Our approach is centered on patient-focused care, ensuring that every child receives personalized attention from a team of highly trained specialists. By making the process of accessing non-emergency medical care simpler and more seamless, we ease the burden for families while promoting each child’s growth, health, and wellbeing.

Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and reliable CNAs, HHAs, and Nurse Aides to join our team at a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) center. Our team provides skilled nursing care to medically complex children in a supportive, daycare-like environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about pediatric care and enjoy working in a team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, diapering, toileting, and hygiene.
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff.
Support developmental activities and engage children in a safe, nurturing manner.
Assist with mobility, positioning, and transfers as needed.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.
Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.
Assist with transportation preparation, as needed.
Accurately document care and services provided.
The person will also be responsible for riding with patients on the transportation van.

Qualifications

Current CNA license, HHA certificate, or relevant Nurse Aide experience
CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
Eligible Background Screening result from the Agency of Healthcare Administration (AHCA)
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a PPEC, pediatric clinic, or home health setting
Familiarity with G-tubes, trach care, or other medical needs
