Pricing Analyst

ItsWorthMore.com LLC is a fast-growing company in the ReCommerce space, focused on making it simple, convenient, and rewarding for individuals and businesses to sell their used electronics online.

Behind every device we purchase is a pricing decision—and that’s where this role comes in.

Our Pricing Team combines market research, sales data, competitor analysis, and a strong understanding of consumer electronics to determine competitive purchase prices while keeping the bigger financial picture in mind. We’re looking for someone who enjoys digging into data, spotting trends, and solving the puzzle of what a product is really worth.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Pricing Analyst to help determine how we price the electronics we purchase from our customers.

This role is part researcher, part analyst, and part tech enthusiast. You’ll dig into real-world sales data, monitor competitor pricing, track changes in the electronics market, and consider the costs that impact profitability—from shipping and labor to marketplace and seller fees.

The goal? Find the right price: competitive enough to win business, while ensuring the numbers still make sense for us.

What You’ll Do

Research current market values and sales trends across platforms such as eBay, Amazon, Back Market, and other online marketplaces
Analyze historical and current sales data to understand what products are actually selling for—not just what they're listed for
Monitor competitor purchase pricing to understand how our offers compare within the market
Help determine competitive purchase prices for smartphones, tablets, laptops, computers, and other consumer electronics
Factor in costs such as shipping, labor, marketplace fees, seller fees, and other expenses when evaluating pricing and profitability
Monitor changes in supply, demand, product releases, seasonality, and competitor activity that may impact product values
Identify pricing inconsistencies, unusual trends, and opportunities for improvement
Regularly review existing pricing and make adjustments as market conditions change
Analyze large sets of data and turn your findings into clear, actionable recommendations
Help develop and improve pricing models, spreadsheets, and tools that make pricing decisions faster and more accurate
Collaborate with other teams to better understand inventory, sales performance, product trends, and operational costs

What We’re Looking For

Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills—you enjoy digging into information and figuring out what the data is telling you
Excellent attention to detail and an ability to spot patterns, inconsistencies, and things that simply don't look right
Strong research skills and the curiosity to keep digging when the answer isn't immediately obvious
Experience with pricing, market research, data analysis, e-commerce, or a related field is preferred
Strong Excel and/or Google Sheets skills; experience with data visualization or analytical tools is a plus
Familiarity with online marketplaces such as eBay, Amazon, Back Market, and similar platforms
Ability to work with large amounts of data while staying organized and accurate
A self-starter mentality with the ability to manage priorities and work independently
Strong communication skills and the ability to explain the reasoning behind your recommendations

Tech Knowledge Matters

This isn't a role where you'll just be looking at numbers on a spreadsheet.

A strong understanding of consumer electronics and technology is essential. You should be comfortable researching and comparing products based on specifications, configurations, generations, models, storage capacities, processors, and other factors that can significantly impact value.

You don't necessarily need to know the value of every device on day one—but you should be the kind of person who can quickly figure out why a MacBook with one configuration might be worth hundreds of dollars more than another that looks almost identical.
