Position Overview:
The Culinary Brand Ambassador creates memorable customer experiences through live appliance demonstrations, cooking classes, events, and digital content. This role combines culinary expertise, brand representation, and social media marketing to educate customers, support sales initiatives, and strengthen KAM Appliances' online presence.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys cooking, teaching, entertaining, creating content, and serving as the public face of a respected local brand.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Culinary Demonstrations & Customer Education:
- Conduct live cooking demonstrations featuring premium kitchen appliances.
- Create engaging showroom experiences for homeowners, designers, builders, and industry partners.
- Educate customers on appliance features, cooking techniques, and product benefits.
- Support the sales team through consultations, product education, and showroom presentations.
Events & Experiences:
- Plan and execute cooking classes, lunch-and-learn events, partner appreciation events, and product showcases.
- Develop menus and recipes for demonstrations and events.
- Manage event preparation, purchasing, food preparation, presentation, setup, and cleanup.
- Represent KAM Appliances at community and industry events.
Social Media & Content Creation:
- Plan, create, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms.
- Serve as the on-camera face of KAM Appliances in videos, demonstrations, promotions, and educational content.
- Develop engaging photo and video content highlighting appliances, cooking techniques, events, and special promotions.
- Engage with followers and industry partners through social media channels.
- Maintain an organized library of photos, videos, recipes, and marketing assets.
Marketing Support:
- Assist with marketing campaigns, promotions, and company initiatives.
- Draft blog articles, emails, recipes, promotional copy, and product-focused content.
- Monitor manufacturer promotions and brand resources.
- Help promote KAM Tech services through educational content and demonstrations.
Professional Development:
- Participate in manufacturer training programs and ongoing product education.
- Stay current on appliance innovations, cooking trends, and industry developments.
- Attend industry events and training programs as needed.
Showroom Operations:
- Keep showroom kitchens clean, organized, stocked, and presentation-ready.
- Ensure equipment and demonstration spaces are maintained to the highest standards.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Food Handler or Food Safety Certification (ServSafe or equivalent).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Comfortable speaking in front of groups and engaging with customers.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, events, and deadlines.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule dependent on events and demonstrations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary training, or professional cooking experience.
- Experience creating content for social media platforms.
- Experience with photography, video creation, or editing tools.
- Marketing, event planning, or promotional experience.
- Experience using Microsoft 365 and social media management platforms.

Physical Requirements:

Schedule:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Flexibility required for special events, cooking demonstrations, and company initiatives.
- Rotating weekend schedule.
- Occasional travel for manufacturer training and visits to company locations.
Compensation & Benefits:
Pay: $26-$30 per hour, depending on experience
