Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Line Cook to join our culinary team! In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality meals with precision and creativity, ensuring every dish meets our standards of excellence. Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of menu items according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and quality
Assist in menu planning by providing input on dish preparation and ingredient selection
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pans, poaching stations, and food production machinery
Maintain strict adherence to food safety protocols, sanitizing all surfaces and utensils regularly to prevent contamination
Execute food handling procedures with precision, including proper portioning, plating, and presentation of meals
Support dietary department requirements by preparing specialized diets and accommodating dietary restrictions as needed
Collaborate with team members during high-volume meal production times to meet service deadlines

Qualifications

Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or food industry setting; dietary aide or catering experience is a plus
Strong knowledge of culinary techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and other cooking methods
Excellent knife skills and familiarity with operating various kitchen equipment safely
Experience with food safety management practices and sanitizing procedures in high-volume environments
Ability to follow recipes accurately while maintaining flexibility for special requests or dietary needs
Prior experience in fine dining or high-volume food production environments preferred
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
