Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Foreman Journeyman Electrician to lead and oversee electrical projects on construction sites. This role requires a proactive leader with a minimum of 10 years experience in commercial electrical work, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. As a Foreman Journeyman Electrician, you will coordinate teams, interpret technical drawings, manage schedules, and uphold construction safety regulations. Your expertise will drive project success from planning through execution, fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes quality and safety.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise electrical crews on construction sites, ensuring work is performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project specifications.
Review and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and schematics to guide installation and troubleshooting efforts.
Coordinate construction schedules to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
Manage material procurement, change orders while maintaining accurate documentation.
Conduct quality control inspections to ensure compliance with electrical codes, OSHA safety standards, and project specifications.
Oversee daily safety protocols in line with federal construction safety regulations; conduct safety meetings and enforce PPE usage.
Manage team performance by providing guidance, training on construction management software such as ProCore, and supervising crew activities on-site.
Collaborate with project managers to monitor budgets, track progress, and adjust schedules as needed for optimal project delivery.
Supervise the review of construction drawings and technical documents.
Ensure all work adheres to construction regulations and industry best practices for commercial construction projects.

Skills

Extensive experience in heavy industrial or commercial electrical construction management.
Proven ability to manage teams effectively in fast-paced construction environments; excellent supervisory skills.
Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, technical drawing review, specifications, submittal documentation and interpreting complex schematics.
Proficiency with construction management software including Outlook, ProCore, Microsoft Office Suite for scheduling and documentation.
Skilled in managing construction schedules, coordinating project timelines, and ensuring timely completion of tasks.
Deep understanding of OSHA standards, federal safety regulations, and construction safety management practices. Must have OSHA 30 certification.
Ability to oversee quality control processes while maintaining high standards of workmanship keeping job sites neat and organized at all times.
Familiarity with budgeting processes related to construction projects; managing contracts and change orders effectively.
Strong communication skills for managing crews, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring clear management reporting.

Job Requirements:

Must have own Hand Tools, Benders (1/2 & 3/4) and Code book
OSHA 30 Certification Required.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Have reliable transportation
